Isaiah Collins is an Irish-Canadian born in the Lower Mainland of BC. His family moved to Penticto almost ten years ago for work and to get away from the rising cost of living in Vancouver. Their mother is a music teacher and author, while their father serves as a chaplain in assisted living. They inspired their work and commitment to public service. Isaiah is the oldest of three siblings and one of many grandchildren in a close-knit family.

Seeing students experience isolation during the pandemic inspired their campus advocacy. They worked with student government and their business club to create events that brought people together and strengthened campus life. Isaiah also earned a Cross-Cultural Communication Certificate and international honours. Inspired by their experiences, their academic research focused on making workplaces more inclusive and accessible. In 2025, they received a Fulbright Killam Fellowship and a Mitacs research internship, continuing their research while exploring the United States.
