I plan to advocate for and advance the interests of young British Columbians by doing the following:
- Working toward a publicly accessible Board of Education with transparent decision making.
- Ensuring that students and staff learn and work in a safe environment.
- Working to eliminate incidences and threats of violence.
-Advocating for a school district where racism, homophobia, transphobia, and other forms of discrimination are not tolerated.
- Supporting continued programs in Indigenous Education, French Immersion, music, and social-emotional learning.
- Advocating the province for increased and sustainable funding for the School District, for staffing, equipment, and space.
- Advocating the province for increased training of teachers, EAs, and other professionals such as SLPs, school psychologists, and teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
- Working with the municipalities to provide safe paths and streets for active transportation to and from schools (walking, biking, taking public transit, and personal vehicles).
