Dylan Kruger: Candidate for Mayor of Delta
“I am honoured to receive the endorsement of Young British Columbians for Better Governance. Good governance isn't just about how governments operate. It's about whether they deliver results for the people they serve. For young people, that means tackling the issues that matter most: affordability, housing, economic opportunity, and building communities where they can see a future. Too many young British Columbians feel the system isn't working for them, and restoring trust starts with better leadership.
My commitment is to provide accountable, transparent leadership that puts people first and creates opportunities for young people and young families to build their futures in the communities they grew up in or chose to call home. That's why I've championed governance reform at Metro Vancouver and why I am committed to restoring citizen-led advisory committees in Delta, giving residents a stronger voice in the decisions that affect their lives.
As someone raising a young family in Delta, this is deeply personal. I want my children, and every young family, to have the opportunity to grow up, put down roots, and build a future in the same parks, schools, pools, and neighbourhoods that shaped my own childhood. That's why I'm proud to be running with the One Delta team: to protect what makes Delta special while making the investments and decisions needed to keep it a place where families can thrive for generations to come.”
